These Chevy Silverado hoods, as well as the pending GMC Sierra hood, were developed in conjunction with GM engineering and tested at the Milford Proving Grounds to achieve performance enhancements from the simple cold air induction feature. While these hoods were designed to providing lower air intake and under hood temperatures, they also offer bold and aggressive styling to meet the growing demand for personalized trucks. The two models currently available fit 2003 through 2007 Classic Silverado and Silverado HD gas and diesel models. The GMC Sierra model will fit 1999 through 2006 Sierra applications.
