F-250/350/450/550 PICKUP & EXCURSION: Banks 4" constant-diameter Monster exhaust pipes—formed of heavy-duty stainless steel—bolt behind the catalytic converter, to slash backpressure and lower exhaust temperatures. The straight-through muffler with Banks’ exclusive expansion chamber delivers a throaty, yet civil, exhaust note. The handsome 5" polished-steel tailpipe tip with a rolled edge stays mirror bright.


Monster Exhaust
Banks Monster exhaust outflows stock and the competition. The streamlined 4" intermediate pipes and tailpipe are formed of stainless, heavy-wall tubing with constant-diameter bends. Backpressure is slashed by 73%. Banks replaces the factory's restrictive muffler with their polished-stainless steel Monster muffler, featuring a straight-through 4"-diameter flow-path with Banks' designed expansion chamber which dissipates the annoying mid-range exhaust drone that’s so prominent in competitors’ straight-through mufflers. Muffler utilizes spun ceramic, very-high-temperature packing. Delivers an authoritative—but never intrusive—exhaust sound. 3.5” turbine outlet pipe with Banks-designed resonator eliminates screechy turbo noise (resonator for ’03 Power Stroke only). A huge 5" polished-stainless steel tailpipe tip sports a rolled edge. Double-walled design with 1/2" air gap keeps heat from tarnishing exterior mirror finish. Adjustable clamp for positioning on tailpipe.
