Cargobat Overhead Storage

A Cargobat is a steel and aluminum framed storage system designed to provide storage and security in trucks with canopy’s.

The steel frame either bolts or clamps to the bedrail of a truck. Then the aluminum tray hinges in the front and latches in the rear giving access to the stored cargo.

You can expect to get at least 8 inches and as much as 20 inches. Depending on the adjustment settings you have the legs set at and the type of canopy you have. The full size models are adjustable from 12” to 18” above the bedrails and the compacts from 10” to 16” above the bedrails.

The system is engineered to hold up to 300 pounds. Attached to the tray and the frame there are (2) 70 lb. compression shocks that assist in the cargo lift. The shocks exert about an additional 30 pounds at the rear. If you find that you would like more assistance from the shocks we offer a Free Shock Upgrade to 75lb., 100lb., 125lb., and 150lb. shocks.
