Factory Tech Transmission Performance
Introduction, The Legend
For the person looking for the absolute state of the art transmission for their SVT F-150, Lightning, Harley Davidson F-150 or Powerstroke Diesel 4R100 equipped vehicle, look no further. The Factory Tech Monster Box is it. Hand built to order by ASE Certified Technicians and built as strong as any 4R100 can be, the Monster Box will take an astounding amount of flywheel torque. Since it's introduction, the Factory Tech Monster Box has been the first and last name in true custom built to order 4R100 Transmission Performance. Now built and backed by Jasper Engines and Transmissions to the pre-existing Factory Tech standard in quality and unbeaten customer service. No Monster Box has ever failed from exceeding design specifications for input torque or horsepower. We can't even break one on a test stand using a grueling "test to failure" routine. This test was done at 1800 ft/lbs of flywheel torque! OEM transmissions fail in less than 30 minutes on this test, while the Monster Box was run for 8 hours without failure.
Clutches
The Reverse Clutch is upgraded from 5 to 6 friction elements for units that have the 5 friction design. The Intermediate Clutch is available with 4 friction single sided plates (optional) or Raybestos Blue Plate Special full race frictions. The Forward Clutch has 6 frictions instead of the stock 4 and has full race plates. The Direct Clutch gets 8 full race friction plates (Ford builds them with 4 or 5). The Coast Clutch drum has 3 friction plates. The intermediate one way sprag is updated with a 45 element unit that holds 45% more torque than the stock unit. Overdrive is also beefed up 33% over stock with a 4 friction element clutch to make it the only aftermarket 4R100 with EVERY CLUTCH upgraded. The total increase in friction surface area is greater than any 4R100 or E4OD built anywhere. But we don't stop there!
Other Upgrades
The oil pan comes with the 4x4 deep sump pan with drain plug. The pump boost valve is replaced with a better valve that features o-ring seals to prevent pressure leaks.
For shift control, you get the part that made Factory Tech the premier name in transmission performance, the Factory Tech Accumulator Valve Body already installed. No one can copy the Factory Tech Accumulator as we make the components in our own in-house machine shop to assure quality.

Gasoline torque converter:
The Total Domination Converter (155K) has a 111/4" impeller and turbine and has a higher stall due to the decreased diameter and different blade angle. The Total Domination also comes with a billet cover. Retail Cost $950.00** This converter comes standard in all gasoline versions of the Monster Box!

The Factory Tech Monster Box retails for $3250.00 with exchange, shipped free to all continental United States The single sided intermediate clutch option is $100 extra, when available. (not available at this time 01/01/05)
Warranty
Factory Tech Monster Box Transmission Assemblies are intended for racing and performance use, and we warranty them for that. Any Monster Box that fails will be replaced, INCLUDING SHIPPING, PARTS, AND LABOR! for 24 months after purchase date. We don't think you need to worry about this, but nothing beats peace of mind when you shell out large dollars for a major powertrain upgrade. All Monster Boxes are now Dyno checked before shipment. All warranties can be taken care of at the shop of your choice. A phone call before repairs are started is all that is required.
All Factory Tech Converters are guaranteed to be free of defects in design, construction and workmanship and warranteed for 2 years from the date of sale when sold separately or as part of a Monster Box assembly package.
We reserve the right to deny warranty coverage for "abuse" in cases where a transmission has be deliberately abused. This shall include but not be limited to excessively long "burnouts" and loads on the vehicle that exceed the manufacturer's rated GVRW on public roads.
Doing "burnouts" is extremely hard on the transmission and heats the fluid to temperatures (excess of 600 degrees) that can cause serious damage to the transmission, regardless of how it is designed or built and are not recommended and will not be covered. The short burnout at the drag strip to heat up the tires is the only acceptable situation.
