1990-2005 Diesel E4OD/ 4R100/ 5R110 Low Stall Converter (95K)

Factory Tech Transmission Performance

Now, you have a great torque converter upgrade for your transmission from the company who brought you the Factory Tech Valve Body. Between these two upgrades, you will have gone a long way to extending the life of your transmission.

They are manufactured with furnace brazed internal construction. Many converters are simply brazed, and use a stick and torch to weld the fins. This can actually weaken the converter. Only Furnace Brazed is done right.

All surfaces are rollerized - except the phenolic composite turbine bearing - which is stronger than a roller bearing for that surface.

Reference: The Stock Diesel 4R100 / E4OD converter is a 110K stall.

This is a 5R110W 95K stall speed impeller (slightly lower than stock) in a 4R100 billet cover with all roller surfaces except the top of the turbine, which has a phenolic washer. (these take way more abuse than a torrington bearing). These are guarranteed to fit in any 4R100 or 5R110 application. A new cover is made to insure a perfect fit.
