The Z-DUMP product is an accessory package (a dumping bin) that can be added to any pick-up truck with a 4’x8’ payload bed. Once installed, this product converts a pick-up truck into a more versatile mini-dump truck that is capable of hauling and dumping payloads of up to 6,000 lbs. without the time consuming effort involved in manual unloading. The dumping bin is designed to fit snugly into the bed of the pick-up truck making it virtually invisible in its retracted position, thereby retaining the truck’s sleek original factory appearance. This low-profile design minimizes the loss of original payload capacity and requires no significant modifications to the truck. A simple hydraulic system operates (raising and lowering) the bin, via a handheld controller. For convenience and safety, the controller is equipped with a 15’ cord to allow remote actuation away from the dump action.

The Z-DUMP product is manufactured and shipped as a complete package, ready for final assembly and installation, by your typical do-it-yourselver or a local shop that handles similar products (i.e., fifth wheels, trail hitches, snow plows, aftermarket truck accessories, etc.).

Aesthetics:

Truck retains factory appearance from all sides because dumping bin is completely hidden within truck bed and factory tailgate

Factory tailgate is retained and fully functional

Inside of bin appearance is that of a typical truck bed liner

Tonneau covers and other truck accessories typically mounted to the top edge of the truck bed can be installed using the top edge of the bin

Cylinders are located out of view and covered when not in use

Integrated bin tailgate protects factory tailgate when hauling rough loads and is removable so 4’ x 8’ sheets of building materials can be hauled safely using the factory tailgate

Available with optional cab-guard to protect back window.

Safety:

Interlocked tailgate switch deactivates hydraulics if factory tailgate is in closed position

Lock-out function is automatic when controller cable is unplugged

Prop-rods integrated on cylinders can lock the bin in the up position when access is required under bin

Warning decals installed on each unit for hazards such as electrical power and pitch points

Integrated hydraulic flow control that prevents loaded bin from descending in an uncontrolled manner

Hydraulic unit is mounted to side of truck frame (out of sight), not in truck bed, which simplifies installation, maintenance, and service (i.e., bin does not have to be in up position to fill or service hydraulic unit)

Two double-acting cylinders are utilized to provide superior load balance and stability (power up & power down)

Universally sized to fit pick-up trucks with 4' x 8' payload body
