485 Electric Fan

Flex-A-Lite

Flex-a-lite’s has developed a custom shrouded s-blade electric fan for 1987-2005 Jeep Wrangler 4 & 6 cylinder (part #485). The solid brackets mount directly to the O.E. radiator-mounting points, eliminating through-core bolts and maintaining a clean appearance. The Jeep Wrangler X-TREME® replaces the stock belt-driven fan and shroud, which provides cooler a/c output, bolt-on horsepower, improved gas mileage, and extended life of your water pump.

The Jeep Wrangler X-TREME® moves 3300 cubic feet per minute, draws only 18 amps, and dissipates over 50% more heat than competitive 16” fans on the market. New S-blade design provides better blade support for impact resistance or water crossings, and shroud is made of glass-reinforced nylon. The entire unit measures 21 ½” x 17 ½” x 4 3/16”, covering over 45% more radiator surface than the original Jeep Wrangler electric fan. An optional manual switch (Flex-a-lite part #31148) allows the electric fan to be turned off through water crossings.
