Banks’ popular 100% stainless-steel Monster exhaust system now fits '05-06 Toyota Tacoma 4.0L V-6 pickups. The 3" mandrel-bent intermediate pipe(s) and tailpipe are formed of stainless, heavy-wall tubing and bolt behind the catalytic converter, slashing backpressure from 3.72 PSI to just.24 PSI—an impressive 94%! The system features Banks’ free-flowing, straight-through polished-stainless Monster muffler with very-high-temperature packing. Monster muffler more than triples the stock flow, increasing it by 211%. As a result, the Tacoma engine is able to produce more power with less work.

Banks' Monster exhaust system was designed and sound-tested using advanced sound analysis equipment. As a result, the Tacoma Monster muffler dissipates the annoying interior resonance that accompanies most straight-through mufflers, while producing a rich, throaty exhaust note that’s pronounced but never overpowering. For an eye-catching finish, Banks Monster exhaust system flashes a highly polished 304-stainless-steel 4" rolled-edge slash-cut tailpipe tip, which has no clamps because it’s welded on.
