Faze Gauge

Faze Gauge introduces four new meters for high-performance diesel trucks. Now available from Faze are an electrical transmission fluid temperature, fuel level and exhaust gas temperature gauge, as well as a mechanical boost meter.

Available in both the CompetitionEL (white face) and Reverse CompetitionEL (black face) line, the new diesel gauges meet Faze’s absolute standard of accuracy and reliability. Each is factory calibrated, tested and certified.

Faze’s mechanical boost gauge (#883106 & #883116) measures the pressure created by a turbocharger or supercharger. It features a 0-100 psi scale (also available as 0-60 psi scale) with a 270-degree sweep. Precision bourdon tube movement ensures an exact reading at all times.

The new transmission fluid temperature gauge (#883202 & #883212) gives drivers early indication of an overheating transmission, often in advance of the vehicle’s dashboard warning light and before any damage occurs. It features a 100-280-degree Fahrenheit range with 90-degree sweep.

The fuel level meter (#883205 & #883215) monitors what’s left in the tank, with an “Empty” to “Full” display reading left to right on a 90-degree sweep.

The exhaust gas temperature (EGT) gauge (#883227 & #883237) measures exhaust gases as they exit the engine and helps identify rich or lean air/fuel ratios. With too rich a mixture – commonly caused by improper jetting or a clogged air filter – the temperature will register cool. If the mixture is too lean – often the result of a fuel blockage or air leak – the temperature will register high, a warning sign of overheating. Faze’s EGT gauge incorporates a 0-2000-degree Fahrenheit scale on a 270-degree sweep.

Slimline design makes all the new Faze diesel instruments easy to fit inside any truck, even where dash space is limited. All gauges feature a 2-inch diameter face (2.06-inch bezel diameter), 2-inch housing diameter and measure only 2.7-inch from the back edge of the bezel to the longest stud. They’re encased in HIPS (high-impact) plastic to promote durability and long-lasting operation.

All gauges come standard with brackets and nuts, necessary sending units, EL power supply with mounting pad, a wide assortment of metric adapters and a highly detailed instruction manual (professional installation is recommended).
