SPAL electric cooling fans are available in 4-, 5.2-, 5.6-, 6.5-, 7.5-, 9-, 10-, 11-, 12-, 13-, 14- and 16-inch sizes to fit most any mobile application depending upon radiator core size. Maximum airflow ranges from 124.6 CFM (cubic feet per minute) to 3,000 CFM depending upon the diameter and profile of the fan. SPAL offers both "push" and "pull" function fans, as well as 11- and 12-inch dual high performance fans.

SPAL uses advanced modeling software and computer-assisted simulation systems to develop electric motors and blades that optimize a fan's ability to pull air cleanly through the radiator core. Fans are tested extensively at SPAL's in-house research and development center that can replicate environments from -30°F to 176°F.

While many cooling fans are pieced together from many different vendors, SPAL controls all aspects of its engineering and manufacturing processes from the design and tooling of injection molds to the winding of each electric motor at its ISO 9001- and soon-to-be TS16949-certified facilities.
