This amazing little rack is the most economical rack on the market today. Originally designed to meet the needs of the people in Hawaii and cut down on shipping costs, the rack was designed with four end brackets to be connected to 2x4 pieces of wood for the cross members. It didn't take long for Americans on the Mainland to realize what a value this rack was, and it is being sold all over the United States. The beauty of this rack is its versatility. It can carry up to 300 lbs of cargo and when the truck owner reaches a job site, the rack can be used as a set of sawhorses. In Hawaii, customers use the rack for kayak storage. This rack is shown with black paint. Some customers have stained and put special designs on their wood cross-pieces.
