Patterned after AIRAID's successful powergenerating
F-150 intake system for the 5.4L Triton V8, the new Super Duty system
features a computer-designed Modular Intake Tube, made from durable cross-linked, high-density polyethylene, that delivers maximum air flow to the engine. The system also incorporates a washable and re-usable AIRAID Premium Air Filter for maximum air flow
and filtration.
In terms of filtration, all AIRAID SynthaFlow® Premium Filters are a specially-blended combination of gauze and
synthetic layers that consistently filter down to two microns, providing superior protection at no extra cost. The filters
are also made from hand-poured urethane to prevent cracking and shrinkage in the extreme conditions found under
the hood on most heavy duty trucks.
On the dyno, the new Ford Super Duty system generated an additional 7 rear wheel horsepower on an F-250
equipped with the new 5.4-liter Triton V8, and additional 11 lb-ft of torque. Best of all, the system installs in minutes
