AIRAID Intake System For 2006-2008 5.7L Hemi Jeep Commander

There's no question that Daimler Chrysler's 5.7-liter Hemi is
one of the hottest power plants to hit the automotive industry in
quite some time. It has been an overwhelming success in the
Dodge truck lineup as well as in Mopar's LX line of sedans
including the Dodge Magnum, Dodge Charger and Chrysler
300C. Recently, the Hemi has found its way, as an optional
power plant, into Jeep vehicles including the Grand Cherokee
and all-new, full-size Jeep Commander.
As the flagship of the `06 Jeep lineup, the 7-passenger
Commander boasts three different 4WD systems, electronically-activated limited-slip axles and the optional 330-horsepower
Hemi. The Commander's Hemi is outfitted with Daimler Chrysler's new Multi-Displacement System which improves
fuel efficiency 20 percent by deactivating four cylinders under cruise and light loads.
Weighing in at just over 5000 pounds, the full-size Commander uses every bit of the 330 horsepower the Hemi generates.
So it stands to reason that more power, improved throttle response and more fuel efficiency would be at the top of the
"must have" list for Commander owners.
The first company to step up to the Jeep Commander power challenge is AIRAID Filter Company. Using its air flow
management expertise with the Hemi in the other Chrysler platforms, AIRAID has developed a simple, bolt-on air intake
system for the Commander that significantly boosts horsepower as well as torque and improves driveability.

utilizes the lower portion of the factory air box so cool air from outside the vehicle still flows to the engine. The heart of

Premium Filters are a specially-blended combination of gauze and synthetic layers that consistently filter down to two
microns, providing superior filtration at no extra cost.
On the dyno, AIRAID's new Jeep Commander intake system generated an additional 11 horsepower and 16 lb/ft of torque
at the rear wheels, not to mention improved throttle response at all RPM’s.
Since the system is part of AIRAID's QuickFit™ Series, installation is a breeze and can be accomplished with ordinary
hand tools in under 20 minutes. And as is the case with all AIRAID intake systems, the Jeep Commander intake comes
