AIRAID Intake System For 2006-2007 3.5L, 3.7L Hummer H3

The long-awaited 2006 Hummer H3 has finally arrived in
dealer showrooms and is expected to be a big hit. Sporting,
8.5-inches of ground clearance, a 4:1 transfer case, available locking differentials and 33-inch off-road tires, the “Baby Hummer” promises to have equally as much offroad prowess as its larger siblings, at a much lower price.The only shortcoming to the new
H3, according to media reports, is a lack of power. With only 220 horses and 225 pounds/feet of torque on tap, the Vortec 3500 5-cylinder power plant has a tough time moving the 4700-pound vehicle with any authority.
However, the engineers at AIRAID Filter Company have found some
hidden horsepower and torque in the inline 5-cylinder and have unleashed that power with an all-new QuickFit air intake system for the H3. This new system improves air flow by a whopping 37 percent by
combining cool, dense outside air with the incoming air though the
base of the factory air box. A Cool Air Dam, which seals against the
hood, keeps unwanted engine heat from the intake charge.
The heart of the new H3 system is AIRAID’s Premium SynthaFlow™
filter that allows for both maximum air flow and superior filtration, down to 2 microns. The new H3 system not only improves air flow by 37
percent over the stock air box, it also dramatically improves throttle
